We’re seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team to help with store operations, customer service and team development. This role involves assisting with store functions and day-to-day store activities, helping customers in a positive and approachable manner, and addressing their questions or concerns. The position also includes organizing and transferring merchandise, performing opening and closing procedures, and processing corporate directives. The Assistant Store Manager will help maintain the store's promotional effectiveness, assist with ordering merchandise, record keeping, and loss prevention. They are responsible for maintaining store cleanliness and ensuring a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom. The role also involves protecting company assets, adhering to policies and procedures, and assisting the Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing Store Associates. A positive, safe, and respectful environment must be maintained with professional interactions. As a manager, you may be required by local jurisdictions to provide detailed background information to obtain specialized licenses for selling alcoholic beverages and/or tobacco products; failure to comply or qualify can lead to demotion or separation of employment. This is a part-time position.
