We’re seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team to help with store operations, customer service and team development. This role involves assisting with store functions and day-to-day store activities, helping customers in a positive, approachable manner, and addressing any questions or concerns. Responsibilities include organizing and transferring merchandise, maintaining seasonal areas, performing opening and closing procedures, and processing corporate directives. The Assistant Store Manager will also maintain promotional effectiveness of store-front fixtures and displays, assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping (including payroll, scheduling, and cash register deposits and receipts), and loss prevention. They are responsible for maintaining store areas to company standards, protecting company assets, adhering to policies and procedures, and assisting the Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing Store Associates. The position requires ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the store.
