We’re seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team to help with store operations, customer service and team development. This role involves assisting with store functions and day-to-day activities, ensuring customer satisfaction, managing merchandise, and performing opening and closing procedures. The Assistant Store Manager is also responsible for processing corporate directives, maintaining store displays, assisting with ordering and record keeping (including payroll, scheduling, and cash register deposits and receipts), and ensuring loss prevention. A key aspect of the role is maintaining store cleanliness and organization, protecting company assets, and adhering to policies and safety guidelines. The position also involves supporting the Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing Store Associates, fostering a positive work environment, and maintaining professional interactions. Additionally, the role requires compliance with local regulations for selling alcohol and/or tobacco, which may involve providing certain detailed background information necessary to obtain a license. Failure to comply and/or qualify for such license can lead to demotion or separation of employment.
