We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team, focusing on store operations, customer service, and team development. This role involves assisting with day-to-day store activities, providing positive customer interactions, and managing merchandise from delivery to the sales floor, ensuring seasonal areas are well-maintained. Key responsibilities include performing opening and closing procedures, processing corporate directives, maintaining promotional displays, and assisting with ordering, record keeping (payroll, scheduling, cash register deposits), and loss prevention. The Assistant Manager is also responsible for maintaining store cleanliness and organization, protecting company assets, adhering to safety guidelines, and ensuring all associates follow company policies. A significant part of the role is to help the Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates, fostering a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers, associates, and leaders.
