We’re seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team to help with store operations, customer service and team development. This role involves assisting with day-to-day store activities, helping customers in a positive and approachable manner, and addressing their questions or concerns. Key duties include organizing and transferring merchandise from delivery trucks to the stockroom and sales floor, maintaining seasonal areas, and performing opening and closing procedures. The Assistant Manager will process corporate directives, maintain promotional displays, assist with ordering merchandise, handle damaged goods, and manage record keeping (including payroll, scheduling, cash register deposits, and receipts), while also focusing on loss prevention. Maintaining store cleanliness, a well-stocked sales floor, and an organized stockroom to company standards is essential. The position requires protecting company assets, adhering to safety guidelines, and ensuring all store associates follow company policies. The Assistant Manager will support the Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing Store Associates, fostering a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions.
