This Assistant Manager of Food & Beverage will support the Food & Beverage Manager for the resort. This would include assisting with the management of the daily operations, staffing, inventory controls, compliance, guest services, finances and employee relations. This role will help ensure compliance: Internal Audit, Quality Assurance, Loss Prevention, Resort Operating Procedures, Guest Service Department Operating Procedures, and Standard Operating Procedures. The Assistant Manager will confirm that all food handling processes are followed at all times along with kitchen safety standards. This role will perform daily inspections of product and service and monitor cashier banks and ensure proper cash handling practices are followed. The Assistant Manager oversees the proper entering and coding of all invoices and inventory information when food items are received. Of course, we are taking care of our guest and owners while performing this job as well.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of financials
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to train, mentor, and coach
  • First Aid Certification, Alcohol Awareness Card, Food Server Health Card (Varies by location)
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • 3 to 5 years Food and Beverage and cash handling experience
  • 2 plus years of supervisory experience
