About The Position

In conjunction with the Leadership of THVI, directs the care provided to patients of the Echo Lab/Heart Station at multiple sites (TUH-Main, Jeanes, Episcopal, Chestnut Hill, Oaks, and Women & Families) as directed by the Echo/Heart Station Manager. Assists with supervising, training, scheduling, and evaluating staff. Helps to direct in-service training, maintain and assuring proper functioning of equipment. Assists with IAC accreditation across Temple Health System sites. Orders supplies and maintains par level as needed. Resolves patient care issues. Performs echocardiograms, stress testing/EKGs on an as needed basis. Visits other campuses as needed.

Requirements

• Cardiac Ultrasound training through an AMA approved program (Required).
• 3 Years experience as a Cardiac Ultrasound Technician (Required).
• RCS - Reg Cardiac Sonographer (Required) or RDCS - Reg Diag Cardiac Sonographer (Required).
• BLS - Basic Life Support (Required).

Nice To Haves

• Bachelors Degree (Preferred).
• 1 Year experience in a supervisory role (Preferred).
