The Oregon Department of Human Services is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer. We are guided by our Equity North Star and our vision for a positive RiSE organizational culture that advances equity and diversity. We encourage applications from members of historically underrepresented racial/ethnic groups, women, individuals with disabilities, veterans, LGBTQIA2S+ community members, and others to help us achieve our vision of a diverse and inclusive community. The Estate Administration Unit (EAU) and Personal Injury Liens Unit (PIL) are statewide recovery programs within OPAR that help protect Oregon’s public resources. EAU recovers assistance from the estates of deceased clients and provides guidance on related legal and probate matters. PIL recovers medical and cash assistance costs tied to accident-related injuries through filing and negotiating personal injury liens. Together, these units operate in a highly regulated environment and play a critical role in supporting DHS program integrity. Opportunity awaits! Join the team that protects the integrity of Oregon’s safety-net programs. The Office of Payment Accuracy and Recovery (OPAR) is seeking a dynamic, collaborative leader to serve as the Assistant Manager for the Estate Administration and Personal Injury Liens Units. This role directly supports Oregon’s commitment to responsible stewardship of public funds by guiding two high-impact statewide programs that recover nearly $50 million in resources each biennium. If you excel at leading diverse teams, navigating complex policy landscapes, and building strong partnerships across systems, this is your opportunity to make a measurable difference for Oregonians.
