About The Position
The Food and Beverage (F&B) Organization operates over 300 unique dining venues, all committed to delivering exceptional mountain dining experiences as part of the overall guest journey. The Assistant Manager Chef plays a key leadership role in supporting the culinary operations of an on-mountain dining outlet. This position works closely with the Sous Chef and broader management team to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality food and service. The Assistant Manager Chef helps oversee daily kitchen operations, supports staff development, and ensures that food preparation and presentation meet established standards.
Requirements
- 2+ years of culinary experience in a high-volume kitchen environment.
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Passion for food, hospitality, and delivering memorable guest experiences.
Nice To Haves
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing kitchen operations, including food preparation, quality control, and sanitation.
- Support the Sous Chef in leading and mentoring kitchen staff to maintain a productive and positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and company standards.
- Help coordinate inventory, ordering, and cost control measures.
- Contribute to menu execution and seasonal updates in collaboration with the culinary team.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient kitchen environment, especially during peak service times.
- Step into leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Sous Chef.
