Responsibilities

  • Accurately handle all monetary transactions; open/close registers and reconcile cash.
  • Proficiently use the POS system and custom furniture processes.
  • Train and support team members on POS, product lines, and guest service.
  • Open, close, and maintain Country Life standards, including cleanliness and organization of sales floor, cash wrap, back stock, and storage areas.
  • Maintain expert knowledge of all Country Life product lines, including custom furniture, to assist guests and train team members.
  • Support team member onboarding, coaching, development, and disciplinary conversations with the Captain.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by greeting guests, sharing product knowledge, resolving issues with Leap and World Class Service, gathering feedback, and providing Village/local attraction information.
  • Update operational logs (Special Orders, Cleaning, Opening/Closing, First Aid, etc.) and complete and distribute the Daily Report.
  • Help plan and recommend periodic Country Life shop parties and ensure team readiness for guest service.
  • Collaborate with other retail Captains and Assistants to support a total retail approach within the Village.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
