The Assistant Shop Manager works in partnership with the Shop Manager and the District Sales Manager. This position has responsibility for on-site management of a single retail location, ensuring that staff, product, and shop operations are handled in accordance with See's guidelines and corporate philosophy. This includes areas such as sales goal achievement, customer service, cost control, visual merchandising, policy compliance, leadership, and safety. The Assistant Shop Manager is expected to promote a sales-driven working environment and ensure that all team members are compliant with company policies and procedures. In this role, you will be responsible for providing leadership to the shop's team to achieve daily, monthly, and annual goals while meeting See's standards for customer service. You will communicate and implement company direction, policies, and programs, and provide appropriate training and coaching to all team members. Additionally, you will assist in the recruitment and selection of qualified candidates, lead by example in customer service, and ensure compliance with cash handling and safety guidelines. The Assistant Shop Manager will also be responsible for maintaining accurate timekeeping records and ensuring compliance with state and federal laws regarding payment of wages.
