About The Position

The Assistant Manager for TNT Sports Live Events is responsible for the day-to-day management of external client college sports activation programs, overseeing logistics, managing field teams, and ensuring seamless execution of events. This role involves close collaboration with various internal teams and external partners to create engaging live experiences that enhance broadcasts and meet client expectations.

Requirements

• 3 - 4 years of event management and activation experience.
• 2 - 3 years of client management and/or brand management experience.
• Proven experience executing large-scale events and activations.
• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Experience building presentations and presenting in a group setting.
• Ability to multi-task and be productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong work ethic and adaptability to various event environments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Nice To Haves

• Experience working directly with sponsors, venues, contractors, and vendors.
• Understanding of event production and operations.
• Proven experience forecasting, managing, and reconciling program budgets.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for the college sports activation program.
• Oversee program logistics and manage field teams/vendors.
• Maintain the program budget and track expenses exceeding $2M.
• Develop in-venue video board content and manage ticket upgrades.
• Brainstorm new elements and enhancements for existing activations.
• Participate in weekly status calls and submit activations for NCAA approval.
• Create brand ambassador talking points and conduct training sessions.
• Work with event venues on all on-site logistics including layouts and load-in times.
• Assist in ideating and executing activations for other TNT Sports events.
