The position assists the Community Manager in leading the team and is responsible for day-to-day operational and sales responsibilities involving residents. This includes resolving resident concerns, managing the move-in/out process, handling renewals, evictions, and other resident-related items. The role emphasizes creating a customer service-focused culture and ensuring proactive engagement with residents, prospects, vendors, and employees.

  • Create a customer service focused culture for residents, prospects, vendors, and employees.
  • Respond to and resolve resident requests and concerns.
  • Lead by example and ensure a proactive approach is adopted for all key customer touch points.
  • Train, onboard, and develop all team members with a focus on employee engagement and retention.
  • Assist new/existing residents with all ICAC processes including move-in/out, transfers, renewals, FAS, and lease agreements.
  • Process resident applications and lease documents as needed.
  • Handle all resident complaints, identify solutions, and communicate to leadership.
  • Oversee ledger management including adding/waiving fees and processing company invoicing.
  • Complete delinquency review, accounting month-end, and process evictions according to company policy.
  • Track NPS and Yelp scores daily.
  • Ensure the condition and quality of the communities meet the Irvine Company standards.
  • Work with the team to ensure overall property maintenance is kept up through regular property walks and inspections.
  • Monitor key performance metrics and ensure plans are in place to achieve company targets.
  • Complete audits and community inspections to ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Foster healthy collaboration and partnership with other departments within Apartments and across divisions.
  • High School Diploma.
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a customer service environment; leasing experience preferred.
  • Valid California driver's license and maintain continuous vehicle liability insurance as required by state law.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing; multilingual ability is a plus.
  • Occasional travel required.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Regular, consistent, and timely attendance is required.
