About The Position

The position involves leading a team of delivery drivers and customer service representatives (CSRs) to ensure that orders are expedited quickly and accurately. The role requires maintaining staffing levels that align with the business needs throughout the day. Responsibilities include managing nightly bank deposits, conducting product inventory counts, and ensuring the store is properly set up for opening. The leader must foster a sense of urgency with every order and handle dispute resolution to ensure customer satisfaction. Additionally, the role involves collecting payments and signed receipts from delivery drivers, ensuring vehicle inspections, assisting with routing delivery drivers, and upholding company standards for grooming and appearance. The position also includes promoting pizza products and specials, receiving cross-training for various operational tasks, and providing quality customer service to both internal and external customers.

Requirements

  • Experience in a leadership role or managing a team.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to resolve disputes effectively.
  • Ability to maintain accurate financial records and conduct inventory counts.
  • Familiarity with food safety and vehicle inspection standards.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of delivery drivers and customer service representatives (CSRs) to ensure orders are expedited quickly and correctly.
  • Maintain staffing levels that mirror the needs of the business at any point of the day.
  • Responsible for end of the night bank deposits when closing.
  • Conduct a nightly product inventory count when closing.
  • Ensure the store is set up properly and ready to receive orders upon opening.
  • Foster and project a sense of urgency with each order.
  • Handle dispute resolution to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collect money and signed credit card receipts from delivery drivers at the end of their shift.
  • Ensure vehicles used for delivery pass inspection, both mechanically and visually.
  • Assist with routing delivery drivers to maximize service to customers while maintaining company standards.
  • Uphold company standards of grooming, uniform, and appearance.
  • Promote pizza products, specials, and promotions.
  • Receive cross-training for preparing products and ingredients, closing and opening procedures, operating the pizza oven, and properly boxing products for delivery or carryout.
  • Provide quality customer service to internal and external customers both over the phone and in person.
  • Communicate clearly and comprehend using a computer-based order entry system.
  • Contribute to and promote an atmosphere of teamwork, energy, and fun.
