About The Position

Bethany Community Services, Inc. is a dedicated non-profit organization providing housing and supportive services to seniors in Haverhill, MA, and surrounding communities. We are currently seeking an Assistant Maintenance Technician/Custodian to support our downtown properties for the summer.

Requirements

• Must be 16 years old or older and a student.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in maintenance or custodial work preferred not required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the sanitization and basic upkeep of the property, including buildings, facilities, and grounds.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents and visitors.
• Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner with supervision from Maintenance Technician.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to address any property-related issues.
• Perform regular trash removal and recycling from residential and commercial properties.
