Villas at Katy Trail Apartments – Dallas, TX 3200 Maple Ave, Dallas, TX 75201 www.VillasAtKatyTrail.com Gaines Investment Trust is seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Maintenance Supervisor to support operations at Villas at Katy Trail Apartments in Uptown Dallas. This role is ideal for a strong Maintenance Technician ready to step into a leadership position while continuing to work hands-on with the team.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• HVAC certification required
• 2+ years of apartment maintenance experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills across multiple trades
• Ability to take initiative and support team leadership
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude
• Ability to live within a reasonable commute to Uptown Dallas

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Maintenance Supervisor in overseeing daily maintenance operations
• Diagnose and complete service requests including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances
• Assist with apartment turns, including painting, repairs, and unit readiness
• Help prioritize work orders and ensure timely completion
• Maintain pool, grounds, and common areas to company standards
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs
• Assist with inventory and supply management
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies
• Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents
