About The Position

American Landmark Value Management is currently seeking an experienced and motivated Assistant Maintenance Supervisor for Zara Apartment Homes, our 302 unit residential community located in Dallas, TX! Your role as Assistant Maintenance Supervisor is critical to ALVM’s success and may include due diligence, community acquisition/disposition, serving on or participating in company sponsored or sanctioned committees, organizations, functions etc. You are ultimately responsible for insuring the efficient maintenance operation of the property under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor and Property Manager. We have a new bonus structure! All Maintenance team members will receive a stipend of $100 when on-call, on top of overtime. ALSO, maintenance team members are eligible for bonuses of up to $250 based on make ready status and work order completion.

Requirements

• 3 years+ Apartment Maintenance experience
• 1-2 years supervisory experience
• EPA Universal certification required
• HVAC Certified (Requirement)
• Prior experience in multi-family housing
• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.

Nice To Haves

• Refrigeration certification and basic business finance knowledge is preferred
• Irrigation knowledge
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred

Responsibilities

• Assist in the supervision of the maintenance team
• Assist in managing the work order system and tracking work orders
• Responding to work orders within 24 hours and ensuring follow-up calls are made
• Responsible for the daily repair and upkeep of the property
• Responsible for ordering supplies and tracking inventory
• Assist team with renewal and leasing efforts and to achieve financial goals
• Coordination of apartment turn efforts
