About The Position

The Reliability Coordinator reports to the Maintenance Manager and is responsible for promoting the maintenance management system, maintaining and improving plant reliability, and ensuring the appropriate application of maintenance procedures, methods, and best practices. The role involves managing performance metrics, conducting analyses, and recommending follow-up actions to optimize resources, increase asset life, and reduce overall costs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • Five (5) years' maintenance experience in heavy industrial or continuous manufacturing field.
  • Experience in Cement Manufacturing is desired.
  • Previous experience as a Reliability Engineer is highly desirable.
  • A combination of industrial experience and technical education will be considered.
  • Exposure to and/or experience in the fundamentals of Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM).
  • Flexible team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative based on sound problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills via personal standards of conduct and work ethics.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical information, financial reports, and legal documents.
  • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Project.
  • Previous experience with a major CMMS, SAP required.

Responsibilities

  • Work is identified in an accurate and timely manner using the CMMS system.
  • Continuous improvement in capability and output of the reliability team.
  • Technical performance management.
  • Job Plans Effectiveness oversight.
  • Inspection, execution of PM's, and lubrication compliance management.
  • Improve reliability, especially in raw mills, kiln, and cement mills, as well as reducing equipment failure rates.
  • Reduction of the number of stoppages on incidents (NSFI).
  • Increase Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF).
  • Ensure no rework occurs.
  • Reduction of number of repetitive stoppages.
  • Compliance with the company Maintenance Practices of the Reliability Pillar.
  • Percentage of Best Practices implemented.
