Requirements
- Variety of knowledge in the repair of electrical systems, plumbing systems, HVAC systems, structural repair and appliance repair.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- HVAC certification.
- Ability to work flexible hours depending on high demands times of year i.e. spring/summer.
- Physical ability to lift/carry 50 lbs. or more.
- Extensive lifting of supplies or equipment, walking, reaching, climbing, bending.
Nice To Haves
- CPO certification or willingness to obtain is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Assist the Maintenance Manager in planning, organizing, staffing, directing and controlling the operations of the building and grounds maintenance department.
- Communicate with other departments based (i.e. front desk/ housekeeping) on various issues.
- Ensure overall quality and timeliness of maintenance performed both in-house as well as by contracted services.
- Ensure compliance of the preventative maintenance procedures within units and building systems.
- Assist other maintenance technicians as requested.
