Previous maintenance or environmental services experience is preferred, but we’re looking for someone eager to learn, grow, and contribute to our mission. Requirements

- Ability to walk and move continuously throughout your shift.
- Comfortable working at heights at or above 12 feet.
- Able to lift and carry tools, ladders, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities
- Model YMCA core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility through your actions and maintain a welcoming atmosphere.
- Develop a keen eye for detail, ensuring the highest standards of maintenance and cleanliness.
- Respond promptly to work orders and requests to ensure timely resolution of maintenance issues.
- Monitor and contribute to pool maintenance; checking chemicals and pump room functions.
- Interior maintenance projects as assigned; signage install, painting, ceiling tile replacement, etc.
- Interior housekeeping; dust and wet mopping gym floors, glass cleaning.
- Exterior grounds monitoring; emptying trash, securing signage, maintaining a clean space for members.
- Engage in safe work practices, including handling heights, electricity, plumbing, pumps, chemicals, and complete required safety training.
- Assist with event set ups and takedowns, ensuring facilities are prepared for special events and programs.
- Communicate the importance of the Y’s commitment to child protection and enforce all YMCA policies.
