The position to be filled is for a Part-Time Magistrate Judge who shall serve at the discretion of the Chief Magistrate Judge and shall have jurisdiction and power over various matters. This role is specifically designed for a candidate who is a member in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia and a resident of Hall County. The judge will be required to assist solely in Magistrate Court and will be part of an on-call rotation for after-hour calls, including 2 weekends per month for search and arrest warrants.
