The Assistant Long-Term Care (LTC) Nurse Manager supports the delivery of high-quality, safe, and compliant patient care in the long-term care setting. This role ensures regulatory guidelines are met, particularly related to the Minimum Data Set (MDS), Care Area Assessments (CAA), and care planning processes. The Assistant Nurse Manager collaborates closely with the LTC Nurse Manager, interdisciplinary care team members, residents, and families to promote optimal resident outcomes. The Assistant LTC Nurse Manager provides leadership and oversight of nursing staff on a 24-hour basis and serves as a primary liaison between the LTC Nurse Manager, Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Registered Nurses (RNs), residents, and families.
