About The Position

The Assistant Loan Origination System (LOS) Administrator is responsible for assisting the LOS Administrator with the smooth, efficient, and compliant operation of the organization’s mortgage technology platform. This role oversees system configuration, user access, workflow updates, and business rule management to support accurate and efficient loan processing. The Assist. LOS Administrator manages system upgrades, patches, and regulatory updates while maintaining strong data integrity and performance optimization. They also provide comprehensive end user support, including troubleshooting, training, documentation, and help desk functions. Additionally, the role involves overseeing third party integrations and APIs to ensure seamless connectivity across POS, and 3rd party vendor platforms. Strong technical aptitude, mortgage industry experience, and excellent communication and problem solving skills are essential for success in this position

Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma
  • Ability to adapt quickly to new systems, enhancements, and workflow changes
  • Must possess good computer and time management skills
  • Has the ability to achieve profit, growth, and customer service objectives within Bank Policies guidelines
  • Must have strong attention to detail

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Mortgage Loan experience
  • Strong working knowledge of lending policies, procedures and documentation requirements
  • Knowledge of Government Loans

Responsibilities

  • Assist and back up the LOS Administrator with configuring the LOS, including persona access, workflow updates, business rules, and system enhancements.
  • Manage system upgrades, patches, and compliance-driven updates (TRID, ATR/QM, state regulations).
  • Support users with troubleshooting, training, documentation, and help desk ticket management.
  • Maintain data integrity and support reporting and optimizing performance.
  • Conduct periodic loan and system audits along with data integrity checks.
  • Partner with compliance and operations teams to implement accurate regulatory updates.
  • All other job duties as assigned
