Responsibilities

• Assist the manager with all aspects of the operations of a State Liquor Store.
• Delegate work assignments to staff.
• Contribute to the department's service-focused mission by providing superior customer service.
• Maintain employee leave and payroll records.
• Receive and fill orders for licensees.
• Perform cashiering duties.
• Monitor and review the quality of work.
• Schedule staff and provide technical assistance or training.
• Conduct regular inventories of merchandise, supplies, or equipment.
• Ensure adequate supply of materials and order as necessary.
• Verify cash intake matches sales and inventory activity.
• Set up and close cash registers, preparing deposits.
• Assist customers in finding products and making selections.
• Resolve potential confrontational issues appropriately.
