The Assistant Librarian at Trinity Christian Academy is a part-time role focused on supporting the library's technical operations and assisting with circulation and reference services. This position involves collaboration with the Librarian and supervision of student volunteers, ensuring effective library management and resource accessibility for students.

  • Assist the Librarian in technical aspects of the library program, including cataloging.
  • Share circulation and reference desk functions with the Circulation Librarian.
  • Perform serials acquisitions and supervise student volunteers.
  • Train library staff on circulation functions and materials processing.
  • Assist students in selecting and evaluating library resources, both print and electronic.
  • Facilitate a yearly book fair.
  • Assist the Librarian in materials selection for the Academy.
  • AA degree preferred.
  • Must pass a background screening.
  • Good attitude and professional demeanor.
  • Team player.
