About The Position

The University of Wyoming is seeking an Assistant Librarian for the Law Library. This position is responsible for providing legal research support to students, faculty, staff, alumni, members of the bar, and the public. The role includes creating, promoting, and evaluating innovative library services and instructional materials, instructing the first-year legal research course, and presenting topical legal research presentations to law school and university classes and student groups. Additionally, the Assistant Librarian will engage in research and scholarship relevant to librarianship, legal education, substantive legal subjects, or other academic disciplines, and will train and supervise law student library assistants.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in library or information science from an ALA-accredited institution or a Juris Doctorate degree from an ABA-accredited institution.

Responsibilities
