Assistant Laundry Supervisor
About The Position
At Boar’s Head Resort, we take pride in delivering excellence in every detail — from our guest experience to the quality of our linens. Our Central Laundry Facility plays a vital role in maintaining the resort’s standard of care and presentation. We are looking for dedicated, motivated professionals to join our team. The Assistant Laundry Supervisor position will support the Director with daily operations, team supervision, and production flow. Ensure that resort linen quality and delivery schedules are consistently met. Location of the Laundry facility is: 400 Earhart Drive, Charlottesville, VA 22903
Requirements
- 2–3 years of laundry or housekeeping supervisory experience.
- Strong attention to detail and leadership ability.
- Familiarity with laundry machinery and processes.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on feet for extended periods.
Responsibilities
- Assign daily workloads and monitor production.
- Inspect quality and maintain cleanliness standards.
- Assist with scheduling, inventory, and safety compliance.
- Train and support laundry staff in daily operations.
- Act as supervisor in the Director’s absence.
