Assistant Land Development Manager

The Assistant Land Development Manager will provide support to the land development process through site work analysis, quantity take-offs of land development functions, value engineering and historical cost evaluation, analysis and tracking. Apply the Company's vision, pledges and guiding principles to every facet of responsibilities in an effort to improve organizational effectiveness. Perform quantity take-offs or verify subcontractor take-offs of land development bid items. Perform cost comparisons between current construction practices and new details derived from internal and external sources.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering or landscape architecture preferred.
- Two years in a civil engineering design firm and/or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Successful candidate must maintain a valid driver's license.
- Candidate must proactively face challenges while being committed to providing customers with excellent services and products.
- The capacity for directing others while under pressure and maintaining a high level of ethics and integrity in all dealings is a must.
- Strategic planning abilities, handling multiple tasks with simultaneous deadlines and demonstrating good judgment and decision-making skills are necessities for this position.
- The candidate must have a proven track record of success in building effective teams and interpersonal relationships while steadfastly pushing self and others for results.
