About The Position

The Assistant Lab Manager at Wemelco Industries, Inc. is responsible for overseeing a team of extraction technicians in the cannabis industry. Requirements

• General cannabis extraction experience, including large scale extractors, rotary evaporators, vacuum ovens, lab scales, diaphragm and rotary vane pumps, short path and wiped film distillation apparatus.
• Experience with alkane (hydrocarbon) extraction equipment.
• Knowledge and experience with safely handling highly explosive and/or flammable solvents.
• Knowledge and experience with using proper personal protective equipment.
• Knowledge and experience with the Massachusetts state METRC system.
• Basic math skills and experience with Excel or a similar spreadsheet program.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge in the fields of Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, or related fields.
