Requirements

Prior kitchen leadership experience required
Strong understanding of food safety procedures (ServSafe certification a plus)
Demonstrated ability to lead a team in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

Assist in managing daily kitchen operations to meet Chick-fil-A quality and service standards
Monitor food safety, preparation procedures, cleanliness, and labor efficiency
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
Maintain kitchen organization and inventory systems
Train, mentor, and coach kitchen team members
Provide real-time feedback and conduct performance check-ins
Lead by example, demonstrating professionalism, teamwork, and a strong work ethic
Assist in scheduling kitchen staff and managing shift coverage
Oversee food production to ensure accuracy, consistency, and speed
Collaborate with front-of-house and leadership to ensure seamless service
Support order fulfillment efficiency
Assist in managing food cost, portion control, and waste reduction
Help track kitchen inventory, place orders, and receive shipments
Steward company equipment and supplies responsibly
