Assistant JV boys' Lacrosse coach
About The Position
Phillips Academy seeks an Assistant Coach for the boys’ junior varsity lacrosse program for Spring 2026. Working alongside the junior varsity lacrosse head coach, responsibilities include developing individual skills, teamwork and sportsmanship among student-athletes. Full background check required. Commitment is approximately 20-25 hours per week (Monday- Saturday) from March 23, 2026 through the third weekend of May. Afternoon practices (3:15 – 5 p.m.) and games typically on Wednesday afternoons as well as most Saturdays during the spring season. No benefits.
Requirements
- Ability to positively motivate, inspire and be role model to students.
- Lacrosse playing experience at high school, college or higher level
- Be adaptable and enjoy working alongside the current coaching staff
- At least 2 years’ experience coaching in club, high school or college setting, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
