The Pittsburg State University Department of Psychology and Counseling is accepting applications for an Instructor of Clinical Psychology committed to high-quality teaching for a full-time, non-tenure position. Position begins on August 10, 2026 and will include undergraduate teaching, graduate teaching, and mentoring. The instructor will be supporting the Clinical Psychology Masters program, which prepares masters-level practitioners to work in underserved areas. Specific courses will depend upon areas of expertise and/or experience but may include Personality Assessment: Adult, Personality Assessment: Child, Research Methods I and II, and/or other courses as assigned. Scholarly activity in clinical psychology is desirable and service to the department, college, and university is required.
