About The Position

The Assistant Instructional Designer role involves assisting in the design, creation, and execution of online classroom and technology-based training initiatives for the UF College of Pharmacy in the Lifelong Learning program. The assistant is expected to collaborate closely with Lifelong Learning Instructional Designer, various stakeholders within the program, including university members, faculty and staff within the College of Pharmacy, and adjunct faculty serving as instructors. The responsibilities encompass assisting in online course setup and design, multimedia planning and creation, meetings with stakeholders, and troubleshooting issues with students and faculty in Canvas. Additionally, the position entails assisting the Instructional Designer with significant projects and contributing to ongoing and project-based Instructional Design (ID) support for the programs housed under the Lifelong Learning program.
