About The Position

The Treasury Office of Inspector General is responsible for overseeing the operation of all Treasury Department Offices and Bureaus (with the exception of the Internal Revenue Service) and for conducting audits, investigations, and evaluations. The OIG is looking for a talented senior executive to serve as its Assistant Inspector General for Audit. This is a Senior Executive Service career reserved position responsible for providing executive-level management for OIG's Office of Audit.

Requirements

• Experience leading complex audit programs in one or more of the following audit disciplines: financial, information technology, or performance.
• Experience in audit program planning including development of strategies to meet organizational goals and applicable Federal mandates.
