The Gardner School of Central Park is seeking energetic, nurturing Assistant Infant & Toddler Teachers passionate about positively impacting children’s lives and making a difference in early childhood education. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • Passion for early childhood education and a joyful, caring attitude
  • Meets all Colorado state licensing requirements for early childhood staff
  • Reliable and professional with consistent attendance
  • Builds positive relationships and communicates effectively with children, parents, and team members
  • Maintains composure and professionalism when addressing stressful situations or unexpected challenges
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. to ensure child safety, facilitate programs, and respond to emergencies.
  • Infant and Young Toddler Teachers must be able to safely lift infants in and out of cribs and perform other caregiving duties
  • Remains alert and engaged while supervising children at all times
  • Meets all background check and fingerprinting requirements per Colorado state licensing regulations
  • Completes required pre-service, onboarding, and annual training hours
  • Adheres to all health, safety, and sanitation standards
  • Maintains a positive, team-oriented attitude and commitment to The Gardner School’s mission and values

  • 1+ year of experience working with children ages 6 weeks – 5 years (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Support the Lead Teacher in planning and implementing engaging, age-appropriate curriculum
  • Nurture each child’s emotional, social, and cognitive development
  • Engage with children during learning, play, and transitions
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment
  • Build positive relationships with families and communicate regularly
  • Collaborate with other teachers and school leaders to ensure excellence in every classroom
