About The Position
Cornerstone Learning Center - Olive Branch is a licensed childcare center seeking Assistant Teachers to support the Infant age group. The center is a family-oriented, close-knit organization that values diversity and inclusivity. They are looking for individuals with a positive attitude who love working with children and desire a fun and professional environment.
Requirements
- high school diploma OR GED
- ability to pass all background checks
- Physical ability to work around small children including sitting, standing, walking, running, and climbing stairs.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs. and fulfill all physical requirements of the role.

Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher with all aspects of the classroom in a manner consistent with the philosophy and goals of the center.
- Implement activities that encourage each child’s growth in the areas of emotion, social, cognitive, creative, and physical development.
- Take direction, accept constructive criticism, and feedback, and make improvements and changes as necessary for the betterment of the quality of the program.
- Create and maintain an environment that is clean and safe for all children.
- Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family to provide quality care for the children.
