About The Position

We are seeking a nurturing and dependable Assistant Teacher – Infants to support our early childhood program. This role focuses on providing a safe, calm, and responsive environment for infants while assisting the Lead Teacher with daily care routines and early developmental activities. The ideal candidate is patient, attentive, and passionate about supporting early development during the first year of life .

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required .
Experience working with infants or in a childcare setting preferred .
Knowledge of basic infant care and development .
Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills .
Patient, reliable, and attentive to children’s needs.

Nice To Haves

Experience in an infant classroom or daycare setting .
Understanding of infant development and responsive caregiving .
Ability to maintain consistent routines and a calm environment .
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

Assist the Lead Teacher with daily infant care routines , including feeding, diapering, and nap schedules.
Help maintain a safe, clean, and sanitized classroom environment .
Support age-appropriate sensory and developmental activities .
Observe and respond to infants’ needs, cues, and developmental progress .
Ensure consistent supervision and a nurturing atmosphere throughout the day.
Assist with preparing materials and organizing the classroom .
Follow all health, safety, and childcare regulations .
Communicate effectively with teachers and staff .
