About The Position

The Youngstown City School District is seeking qualified coaches to join our athletic program. Coaches will be responsible for leading and developing student-athletes in their respective sports, ensuring a positive and competitive environment. The role requires adherence to all district policies and regulations, as well as compliance with the Ohio High School Athletic Association (OHSAA) guidelines. Coaches will work closely with students, parents, and school staff to promote sportsmanship and teamwork.

Requirements

• FBI/BCI background check is required.
• Must hold a valid Pupil Activity Permit.
• Meet all additional training requirements set forth by Youngstown City School District and OHSAA.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop student-athletes in their respective sports.
• Ensure compliance with district policies and OHSAA guidelines.
• Promote sportsmanship and teamwork among athletes.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and school staff.
• Plan and conduct practices and competitions.
