Requirements

  • Proven experience in housekeeping management or supervisory roles, preferably in a resort or hotel setting

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, safety procedures, and equipment
  • Ability to handle guest concerns with professionalism and tact

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing daily housekeeping operations
  • Supervise and coordinate staff responsible for cleaning guest rooms, public areas, and linen closets
  • Ensure all public areas are clean, well-maintained, and meet the resort’s quality standards
  • Manage linen inventory, including linen closets, and ensure proper storage and replenishment
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health standards
  • Train, motivate, and support housekeeping staff to deliver exceptional service
  • Handle guest requests and resolve any issues promptly and professionally
  • Assist in scheduling staff shifts and managing workload distribution
  • Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities and inventory
