Train and supervise employees. Use verbal and written communication between departments and co-workers. Monitor performance to ensure adequate cleanliness and stock level of guest rooms. Physically inspect guest rooms. Assist with establishing department guidelines, rules and regulations, and training programs. Handle customer complaints and concerns. Prepare requisitions, reports, correspondence, and forms relative to the operations of the department. Operate vacuum cleaners and shampoo machines. Clean and dust, including closest shelves, picture frames, mirrors, tubs and showers. Lead special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Two (2) years of related supervisory, training or work experience preferred.
  • Knowledgeable about proper housekeeping techniques, implements, and handling of chemicals.
  • Must have excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to perform all duties of a Guest Room Attendant, including but not limited to: vacuuming, changing linens, sweeping, mopping, dusting, etc.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be computer literate.
  • Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.
