About The Position

This position is responsible for making all aspects of the Executives personal life flow as seamlessly as possible with his professional life. The ideal candidate for this position is a self-starter who can work well in a fast-paced environment. Attention to detail and organizational skills while multi-tasking is a must. Problem solving and innovative thinking are key. Excellent time management is a requirement. This role may be based in Boston or New York City.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in hospitality, food and beverage, or event management
  • Resourceful, efficient, and able to work independently
  • Well-organized, possesses excellent time management and communication skills
  • Computer literacy (Microsoft Office) and knowledgeable with Apple products
  • Can consistently demonstrate confidentiality and discretion
  • Mental toughness
  • Ability to be proactive and take the initiative
  • Flexibility and adaptability
  • Valid driver’s license needed for driving principle and running errands
  • Boston or New York City based
  • Available to travel and work flexible schedules including holidays

Responsibilities

  • Provide exemplary client service by demonstrating urgency, thoughtful planning, effective communication, professionalism and partnering with other team members when appropriate.
  • Anticipate principal’s administrative needs and proactively recommend and execute management of these needs
  • Perform assigned duties in a timely and professional manner. These duties include but are not limited to: household chores including routine home maintenance, running duties and errands, pet-care, assisting principals and house manager.
  • Initiate and complete special projects independently, accurately and with sound judgment.
  • Liaise with Chefs, Administrative Assistants and additional household staff as needed.
  • Assist with general maintenance and upkeep of vehicles
  • Provide access and oversee vendors
  • Ability to diagnose/fix simple problems if they arise, this includes being computer literate.
  • Run preventative equipment checks as needed to limit down time
  • Prepare simple meals, table service, meetings and support special events setup
  • Conduct all duties in a confidential discreet manner
  • Available to work a non-conventional schedule that will include long hours, nights, weekends and holidays. This role will include travel as needed to support the executive.
  • Special projects and assignments as business dictates
  • Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPAA.
