About The Position
North Plainfield High School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Assistant Cheer Coach to support the Head Coach in leading the cheerleading program. The successful candidate will assist with organizing practices, supervising student-athletes, promoting teamwork and school spirit, and ensuring a positive and safe environment for all participants.
Requirements
- Previous cheerleading or coaching experience preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and motivational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a coaching team
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Required certifications per NJSIAA and district policy.
