Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent training and job experience required.
  • Previous healthcare office management and/or excellent customer service experience required.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, manage, and develop staff effectively; prior supervisory experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of and personal commitment to reproductive rights and Planned Parenthood’s mission.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and decision-making skills.
  • Comfortable discussing sexuality, contraception, STIs, and pregnancy options in a professional and nonjudgmental manner.
  • Ability to recognize and function appropriately in sensitive situations.
  • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and at other health centers as needed.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
  • BLS Certification may be required based on role.

Responsibilities

  • Uphold Planned Parenthood’s mission and core values by fostering a welcoming, respectful, and inclusive environment for all staff, patients, and partners.
  • Ensure health equity and quality care through patient-centered service delivery and adherence to all quality assurance standards.
  • Provide direct patient care and education, including non-directive counseling on reproductive health options and thorough explanation of birth control methods.
  • Oversee daily clinic operations in partnership with the Center Manager, ensuring efficient patient flow, scheduling, inventory management, and goal achievement.
  • Model accountability and leadership by supporting coworkers, upholding financial policies, and adhering to disciplinary protocols when needed.
  • Participate in continuous training and staff meetings to stay aligned with compliance, professional standards, and organizational goals.
