About The Position

Southeastern Louisiana University’s Department of Athletics, invites applicants for the position of Assistant Track and Cross Country Coach. The successful candidate will assist the Head Coach with all phases of a Division 1 intercollegiate track and cross country program including instruction and training of student-athletes in on-court/field operations, throws, physical and mental player development, motivation, mentorship, instilling disciplines and development technical skills through quality practice and excellent communication.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• A minimum of one year of coaching experience at the high school level or above or one year as a Division I student-athlete.
• Ability to travel and work nights/weekends as necessary.
