About The Position
CITY OF NOVI seeks Assistant Head Counselors for Camp Powerplay. Under the direction of the Recreation Supervisor, the Assistant Head Counselor will support the head counselor by making sure the daily operations of camp are running effectively and efficiently. The Assistant Head Counselor ensures staff stays on schedule, completes paperwork, and communicates with parents and other staff members. Varying hours throughout the spring, and then up to 40 hours/week durning the sumer with last days in August. $17.00 per hour.
Requirements
- 21 years old preferred
- Have experience working with children
- Ability to work in the out of doors comfortably
- Possess an understanding of aims and objectives of camp
- Knowledge of camp program and planning
- Must be enthusiastic and dependable
- CPR & First Aid certification required (provided by the department.)
