Our historic hotel is in the heart of the nation’s capital, less than a mile from McPherson Sq metro station has 559 guest rooms, over 31,235 total event space and 21 meeting rooms. The ideal candidate would have worked most recently with an employer for 1+ years and has hotel banquet set up experience. Ability to setup, breakdown and clean meeting rooms, event space and surrounding areas and to work varying schedules is mandatory. The ideal candidate will have at least six months of banquet houseperson experience. They will be skilled in setting up, breaking down, and cleaning meeting rooms, event spaces, and surrounding areas, with a strong focus on detail and efficiency. This individual will possess flexibility, patience, and a sense of urgency. Physical stamina is essential, as the role involves standing for extended periods and the ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects. This is a union position.
