Requirements

  • Three to five years previous Rooms Division Management experience required.
  • Preferred candidate should have experience in a luxury, fast paced environment.
  • Candidate must have authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and oversee the activities of the Bell and Driveway staff, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
  • Interview, hire, and schedule Valet Parking staff to optimize guest service while adhering to budgetary guidelines.
  • Supervise and train staff on their responsibilities, conduct performance evaluations, and administer disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Act as a liaison between the house car operations and hotel management, ensuring efficient service.
  • Deliver a high level of personalized, friendly, and courteous service to all guests.
  • Ensure all vehicles and keys are handled with care and properly secured.
  • Professionally address and resolve guest complaints or concerns regarding parking, keeping the Rooms Division Manager informed of any issues and actions taken.
  • Respond promptly and appropriately to hotel emergencies or safety situations.
  • Ensure accurate collection and posting of all parking charges, implementing controls to maximize revenue and profits.
  • Coordinate the use of off-site garages when necessary and oversee proper reconciliation of charges.
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and ensure timely submission.
  • Collaborate with the concierge team to coordinate guest services, including handling vehicles, luggage, and special requests.
  • Work closely with other hotel departments, particularly Sales and Catering, to accommodate special guest or group parking needs.
  • Ensure valet staff are fully familiar with the hotel's facilities, services, and city landmarks to assist guests effectively.
  • Supervise valet runners, lead staff, and doormen, ensuring accurate payroll and scheduling.
  • Oversee guest vehicle damage incidents with professionalism, ensuring they are properly documented and resolved.
  • Perform additional tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management.
