The purpose of this position is to ensure the quality, freshness, and product assortment is maintained throughout the store, particularly in the grocery departments. This role involves receiving, stocking, and rotating product, facing product, taking special orders, training new associates, and providing exceptional customer service. The Assistant Grocery Manager will support the Grocery Manager in the successful operation of the grocery, frozen, and dairy departments, ensuring product quality, inventory levels, and pricing accuracy, while also maintaining store cleanliness and company standards for safety and productivity.
