About The Position

Save More Marketplace is looking for a motivated Assistant Grocery Manager to support the grocery department's operations. Since 1959, our mission has been to provide high-quality products and exceptional customer service to our community. In this role, you will assist the Grocery Manager in overseeing daily activities, managing staff, and ensuring the grocery department runs smoothly and efficiently. Requirements

• Previous retail or grocery management experience preferred.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
• Customer service focused with the ability to handle challenging situations.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising and training grocery department staff to deliver excellent customer service.
• Support inventory management, including ordering, stocking, and organizing products.
• Ensure the grocery department meets company standards for quality, presentation, and cleanliness.
• Handle customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional and timely manner.
• Contribute to planning and implementing promotions and merchandising strategies.
• Collaborate with other departments and management to achieve store goals.
• Help maintain compliance with health and safety regulations.
