About The Position

Turkey Creek Golf Club is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Assistant Golf Professional to join their team. This role provides a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in golf operations while working in a friendly and professional environment. The ideal candidate will be involved in various aspects of the golf shop, assisting with daily operations and customer service, and will have the opportunity to participate in the PGA Professional Golf Management Program.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree in a related field is preferred.
• Current enrollment in or desire to enroll in the PGA Professional Golf Management Program.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Passion for the game of golf and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in golf operations or retail is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Golf Operations Manager in the daily operations of the golf shop, including sales, inventory management, and customer service.
• Organize and facilitate club tournaments, events, and outings.
• Monitor on-course activity and ensure golf operations keep the facility clean, functional, and appealing to customers.
• Manage outside service staff, train new staff, and monitor performance as necessary.
• Maintain maintenance and repair schedule of the cart fleet and ensure cleanliness.
• Support the promotion of club programs and initiatives, including junior golf and engagement activities.
• Maintain knowledge of golf equipment and apparel to assist customers effectively.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in golf and the PGA program requirements.
